With a DLC for Alone in the Dark you can revive the characters from the game in the look of 1992.
THQ Nordic has come up with a slightly different surprise. A DLC for Alone in the Dark has filters with which you can reset the characters to 1992. So you can either play with 8-bit characters or use a filter to put yourself in a black and white world. If you’re interested in learning more about the game, you can even turn on a mode that features audio commentary from the director, giving you a glimpse into the world behind the scenes.
Alone in the Dark will be released on March 20th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. If you choose the Deluxe Edition of Alone in the Dark, all three DLCs are included with the game. Alternatively, you can purchase the Vintage Horror Filter Pack and Director’s Commentary Mode for $4.99 each. The Derceto 1992 Costume Pack costs $2.99.
