The lawsuit against the hacker who tried to extort Rockstar is about to begin and the details of the process are already beginning to come out.
A long time ago, a hacker managed to bypass Rockstar’s defenses to get footage and even gameplay of GTA 6, hardware with which he tried to extort money from the developer who refused to pay and as a result we got the first unofficial video of a game that was kept secret for years.
Arion Kurtaj is the name of the computer criminal who had “exclusive” access to GTA 6 and is barely 18 years old, which does not prevent him from being a member of a group of hackers who call themselves Lapsus$ and Who has a long history of attacks on big business
From escape from GTA 6 to prison
Despite the record, Kurtaj cannot appear in court and the reason is the mental health of the accused, which according to several psychiatrists would be quite deteriorated. The jury will then be the one to determine whether the accused is guilty or not without his presence in the room.
The hacker faces charges of blackmail and nine other crimes, including fraud. Next to him is another defendant whose name has not been released (because he is a minor) and with whom he also shares almost the same accusations against him.
