Plug in Digital and Caracal Games announced the launch of Improved downward, a first-person parkour platformer set in a post-apocalyptic world. It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Switch and PC (Steam) from June 4.
Those who already have the Down original, released on PC in 2017, can be updated for free A Improved downward. This improved version includes updated graphics, new assets, optimizations and a new ending that promises to expand the gaming experience. Some features include:
- First-person parkour: Players will experience challenging first-person parkour action, jumping, sliding and hanging through the ruins of the past. Experience can be gained to improve the character’s stats and powers, combining them with parkour skills to take on the Ancient Guardians.
- Exploration and discovery: The game offers the freedom to explore an open world, allowing players to discover stunning landscapes, secret locations, useful items and hidden treasures. The game’s narrative will unfold based on decisions made, treasures collected, and how the apocalyptic world is explored.
- Apocalyptic story: The plot focuses on an event known as “Advent”. These are three planets that begin to orbit Earth, signaling the end of an era. Players must find a way to advance in this new hostile environment.
