Put your hands up and channel your energy! Dragon Ball Fighter Zone of the best 2D fighting games yet, is available on February 24th with PC Game Pass!
Dragon Ball Fighter Z was born from what makes the Dragon Ball series so popular and famous: endless spectacular battles with almighty fighters. partnership with Arc System Works, Dragon Ball Fighter Z maximizes high-end anime graphics and brings easy-to-learn but hard-to-master combat gameplay to a global audience.
Dragon Ball Fighter Z features a dynamic 3vs3 tag/support system that allows you to show off your own personal fighting style by mixing tag team attacks! With a large roster of popular characters, you can create your dream team of fan-favorite characters like Goku, Gohan, Frieza, Cell and many more! Certain character combinations also have special dialogue before a battle. You can even recreate iconic story moments by letting specific characters fight and be rewarded with a faithfully reproduced special cutscene!
If you want to get your feet wet before jumping into battle, check out the practice modes, which are accessible from the lobby. There are a variety of tools you can use to learn basic and advanced fighting techniques.
Being an experienced fighter myself, I recommend that you learn how to use and defend against the Super Dash. This technique, which can be used by almost all characters, allows you to track, search and attack your opponent while being invincible against Ki-Blasts (extremely powerful). But there’s a simple answer to defend against this attack: Crouch + Heavy Attack; Also known to the experienced player as 2H. If you time it right, you’ll turn the tables on your opponent.
There is also a story mode with most of the cast. In this mode you will recruit many characters in the game, level up and fight against villains. But for me as a superfan, my favorite part was all the dialogue with the characters. Several characters who never got a chance to meet in the series do in this game, and it takes character enrichment to the next level.
Now PC Game Pass members can experience one of the best fighting games available today! Whether you’re a longtime Dragon Ball fan or a newbie, Dragon Ball Fighter Z has something for everyone. I hope to see you on the battlefield!
