A few days ago we had the surprise announcement of a new Dragon Ball Z game: Budokai Tenkaichi 4, it’s a moment to remember, because fans of the series and the video game saga were amazed. We have been waiting for this news for a long time and 16 years later, a new episode would be ready to see the light Soon.
After some investigation, the youtuber Marty Japan posted an interesting fact. The code name for this new Budokai Tenkaichi would be “Sparking!” Zero”, a title reminiscent of the name given to the Budokai Tenkaichi series. Could this be indicative of a small restart of the saga?
Keep in mind that this does NOT mean the game will be titled “Dragon Ball SPARKING! ZERO”
Much like how “DBZ Kakarot” had the codename “Project Z” when it was announced.
So BT4 will not necessarily be called “BT ZERO”😉 pic.twitter.com/ATsOHuALJp

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is ready for anything
Perhaps the name “Sparking!” Zero” may suggest a relatively smooth reboot of the series. What is true is that a game like this next to the art that Dragon Ball FighterZ or Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot provided us… It will be amazing. Just thinking about it, I want to hold it in my hands, our childhood is once again depriving us of adulthood.
Of course, we are dealing with speculation and rumors, so you have to take this information for what it is. Until you have 100% official information, it is better not to draw conclusions, but… And what is it nice to be excited? With the past of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi they can do really amazing delivery and the addition of a very large staff.

Remember it’s a game simpler and more arcade than FighterZ, so character depth and complexity won’t be similar at all. If you can’t remember the old installments, a similar comparison would be the Dragon Ball: Raging Blast titles. Simpler attacks and character combinations, but a number of fighters that got you buzzing.
