The developers of Dragonkin: The Banished presented the Ancestral Grid Skill system.
Nacon and Eko Software publish a new video for Dragonkin: The Banished, in which the mechanics of the new Hack'n'Slash skill system are presented.
The so -called Ancestral Grid enables individual builds to create and defeat the hordes of enemies that prevail in the world populated by dragon. Dragonkin: The Banished will be available on Steam from March 6, 2025 in early access and will also be on consoles at the final publication.
The Dragonkin's skill system: The Banished is based on the Ancestral Grid, an interface that develops at the same time as the character.
Each class has its own grid, which expands with the step climb. Fragments are placed on this grid: hexagonal pieces that contain skills or modifiers. By arranging these fragments, the players can adapt their playing style. Skills are added to the character of the character, while modifiers increase the effectiveness of the skills with which they come into contact.
The Ancestral Grid is more than just a skill Tree and works like a puzzle. The further the players progress, the more powerful and more complex fragments you get.
Your adventure is also enriched by unique support: your drachling. This young, trained dragon adds an additional strategic dimension by having his own place in the grid and triggers special effects.
The EKO Software team, which is made up of Hack'n'Slash fans, introduces this new feature to invite individual characters and stories and give the players the opportunity to create really unique builds.
Dragonkin: The Banished will be released on March 6, 2025 in early access on Steam. It is also published on the console for the final release.
