Improvements in handling and other areas have been implemented with the latest update for EA Sports F1 24.
With the latest update for EA Sports F1 24, players receive a number of handling improvements, changes to curb behavior and graphical improvements.
The update is now available for all platforms.

Update 1.6 Patch Notes
HIGHLIGHTS
- The middle traction control setting has been rebalanced
- When driving over curbs, the vehicle becomes more unstable; curbs in particular have a greater influence on vehicle stability.
- Fixed an issue in Time Trial where, under certain circumstances, times achieved with an F1 car could appear on the F2 leaderboards.
- Fixed an issue where a specific Specialist objective could cause a career save to not load correctly.
- The pit crews in the driver career have received some training, so pit stop times have generally improved.
GRAPHICS/VISUALIZATION
- Improved presentation quality of Broadcast Pit Stops on PS4 and Xbox One
- When an AI is the Driver of the Day in a multiplayer race, it will no longer appear with the player’s Fanzone expression label.
- Fixed an issue where the tire warmers would easily collide with the tires on some cars.
- Improved lighting of the character models of the My Team Icons when starting a career
- ‘Frame Generation’ works more effectively on PCs where this option is available and enabled
HANDLING
- When engine braking is very high, the player’s brakes are now less likely to lock up.
- The AI is now less likely to lock up when applying only light pressure to the brake.
- Tire pressure adjustments now have a greater impact on tire grip and heat
GAME STABILITY
- Fixed an issue that caused the Drivers tab to become unresponsive after viewing lap times in the Race Director.
- Fixed an issue where the player could select two options at once in the practice menu, causing the game to hang.
SENSE
- A metal grid on the outside of the first corner in Portugal has been repaired so that it is no longer counted as a minor collision with a vehicle driving over it.
- Fixed a rare issue in One Shot Qualifying at Silverstone where the AI could drive too far to invalidate the next lap before the player gained control of the car.
AUDIO
- Fixed an issue where your Engineer could incorrectly tell you that your teammate was better than you.
PERIPHERALS
- Added support for the Cammus C5 Wheel
VARIOUS
- New “Champions” images have been added to the compendium, replacing the previous entries. All previously unlocked stickers will remain unlocked for these new images
- Fixed an issue where ten-second pit stop penalties would only last five seconds
- The logo on the Ferrari garage monitors has been updated
- Fixed an issue where the number of laps shown as available in a practice program could be incredibly high.
- Various UI improvements have been made in many areas of the game
- General stability improvements
- Various minor bug fixes
