The writer explains how he helped Software to retrace the history and background of the Elden Ring

“A few years ago, Hidetaka Miyazaki and his incredible team of game designers, the creators of the video game series Dark souls, they contacted me from Japan to ask me to help you create the background and story for a new game they were working, ”writes Martin in his blog post titled Long time ago… “Of course video games are not my thing. Martin praises the work done by Miyazaki and his team in Software, as well as the artistic vision they share in the studio, factors which, all in all, were decisive in convincing him to help them. “What they wanted from me was just for me to build their world a bit – a deep, dark, resonant world that would serve as the basis for the game they were planning to create. I love to create worlds and write imaginary stories
The writer was careful to bring his vision: “I gave it to my new friends in Japan and they continued from there. And the years passed. Video games are as big as movies these days (bigger, actually…) and take just as long to create. But on the day of Ancient ring it’s finally close, ”he continued. “And I have to say it looks amazing”.
