Thanks to this video and the latest details unveiled by the company, we can get an idea of what their world will be like. The first thing to note is that the legends and myths that we will find in Ancient ring, come from the hand of George RR Martin. The plot will therefore have a large cast of characters who will each have an important role in the story of the game. The director of the company, Hidetaka Miyazaki, is very pleased with the outcome, as each of these characters will exhibit their own motives and act accordingly.

That said, the world is clearly influenced by the studio’s experience on the show. Dark souls. In fact, Miyazaki himself claims that we are facing an evolution within the genre. Details that we will find a world of gigantic scope, full of mysteries that we will have to explore. This is a key point, since for the first time the team creates an open world title. One of the characteristics that we already know Ancient ringis that it will have real time and a day and night cycle. Of the same shape, our journey can be both alone and in company. Thanks to this rich open world, which promises a large number of places, we will have to experiment and test the way forward. The player will have total freedom from the first moment and thanks to exploration he will find new paths, skills or weapons that will allow him to retrace his steps and take up new challenges. In addition, the company is exploring the possibilities. One of them being stealth, which caught our attention, as it was a very present element in Chopped. Even so, we don’t know what approach he will take Ancient ring concerning this mechanism.
