Last June, we brought you the details of the sales of Ancient Ring. At that time, we told you that there were 25 million games sold. But now we have to update this figure since the game From Software and Bandai Namco offers us new data. Today, 28.6 million units have been sold. All this was published in a press release in which more details about its next version are given, Night Reign of the Elder Ring.
Thus, it is very possible that we will easily reach the impressive figure of 30 million copies sold. What we don't have details on, on a business level, is how its expansion has played out commercially. Shadow of the Erdtree. We understand that many players have also bought it, but we will have to wait for a financial report.
Remember that here we brought you our analysis of the enlargement Shadow of the Erdtreein which we concluded that:Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree has become one of the best-executed expansions in gaming history. It's surprising how FromSoftware continues to polish a seemingly infinite diamond to the fullest. This expansion is the icing on the cake of one of the best games in history. The small flaws of the game have been improved and everything good has been expanded with mastery to the level of very few. Miyazaki gave fans a breath of fresh air that makes you feel alive in a video game again.”
