Electronic Arts will shut down all of these NHL servers

This time it is Electronic Arts which announces the closure of several games of the NHL franchise. And it is that there will be 7 matches affected by this measure. A measure which, by the way, will begin on June 6.

NHL shuts down multiple servers

From Electronic Arts they pointed out that the reasons for its closure are precisely their low usage. There is no longer a strong enough player base to continue supporting them.

The daily active player base in some NHL titles has reached very low numbers. For this reason, we can no longer guarantee a quality online experience. As a result, EA will take down the servers for NHL 14, NHL 15, NHL 16, NHL 17, and NHL 18 on June 6, 2022. After that date, you’ll still be able to play all offline modes on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
