, focused as ever more on strategy and less on combat. But this is only on paper because as in previous versions we found too many similarities with Dynasty Warrior 9 released in 2018, the title from which this spin-off was born.

Like any other title in the series, this game is set during the Three Kingdoms era of China. Following the tradition of Empiresthe game puts the plot in the background, giving rise to classic RTS components, such as resource management, treaties, alliances, etc. There are opportunities for us to forge incredible stories and unique ones that will change depending on where you are invading or conquering and who you are talking to. No overly elaborate or predefined central plot as in its classic version.

We can enjoy 2 game modes, Conquest and fight. In the Conquest system we can choose between being a ruler or a general and your ultimate goal is, of course, to dominate all of China. As a ruler, you control the finances, you will be able to trade and build alliances, but we will have few fights. If our thing is to crush skulls, we must switch to the Combat mode of this Dynasty Warrior, full of clashes in the purest hack and slash style.
