The endgame of The First Descendant is going to be something to behold. A new video gives a hint of what to expect.
With a new video, Nexon is getting you in the mood for The First Descendant and, in particular, what awaits you at the end. At the end, you can unlock all playable Descendants and also research ultimate weapons that give your attacks more weight and bring with them unique abilities.
Even beyond the endgame, Nexon wants to make more Descendants available and bring new weapons into the game. Until then, however, you should also have the opportunity to replay missions to unlock rewards. The difficulty level will be increased for this.
Special Operations will also be available, which will be the most challenging content in the game. These turn-based missions focus on combat and you will have to defend yourself against waves of attackers. Three different Special Operations are offered, each type with a different focus.
Also teased are the so-called Void Intercept Battles, in which you will compete against gigantic opponents in arenas. These are apparently raid bosses that you can defeat together with other players to unlock exclusive rewards, including new descendants and weapons.
The First Descendant will be released on July 2nd for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
