A Hero Pack for FUT was sold for FIFA 23 which destroyed millions of coins in the market.
Publisher Electronic Arts accidentally released a Hero Pack for the new FIFA 23, wiping out millions of FUT Coins from the game.
The Hero Pack was on sale at 7:00 p.m. Saturday for around 25 minutes before being removed. It contained FUT Hero items, some of which are really valuable and can earn millions of FUT Coins.
Millions of coins were wiped out in FIFA Ultimate Team because some players panicked and sold the items from the pack due to the increased supply. The flood of otherwise rare hero items has resulted in an extreme price drop.
Curiously, the pack was advertised as not being tradable on the transfer market, which obviously wasn’t the case.
Electronic Arts has not yet commented on how this error came about and whether it can be corrected.
