Bungie announces galactic adventure with lightsaber feeling for Destiny 2.
Look forward to a new chapter in the Destiny universe: With Destiny 2: Renegades on December 2, 2025, a large expansion awaits you that can be clearly inspired by iconic Star Wars elements.
Bungie promises an epic science fiction adventure that not only brings new locations and opponents, but also introduces gameplay elements, which fans should immediately remind you of light sword duels and power.
The focus is on a group of renegade guardians who have spoken out of the vanguard to follow a dark path – or maybe a new light? With new skills, weapons and armor, Renegades wants to mix up the Destiny gameplay and at the same time arouse nostalgic feelings in science fiction fans.
In addition to a new story campaign, the expansion will also contain new raids, PvP cards and a previously unannounced feature, which according to Bungie “challenges the boundaries between good and evil in the Destiny universe”.
Further details about the expansion are expected in summer on a separate show case event. But one thing is clear: with Renegades, Bungie has a brave, galactic path. You can find out what plans bungie still has in this Destiny 2 News.
