Hello Games has published an extensive World Part II Update for No Man's Sky.
The “Worlds Part II” update (version 5.50) for No Man's Sky brings with it numerous innovations and improvements. Update 5.50 expanded and deepened the universe with new stars, a new story and new planetary classes – including gas giants, water worlds and destroyed civilizations.
The worlds are more diverse than ever, with new terrain forms and biomes, and are populated by a large number of strange new creatures. The engine improvements include a complete revision of the lighting systems, improved water rendering, faster loading times and much more!

Expansion of the universe: A new star type, the purple class, was introduced, which has numerous new worlds available for exploration.
Spectacular new landscapes: The universe was enriched with new stars, stories and planets. Players can now explore ancient ruins, gas giants and water worlds and discover strange creatures, diverse biomes and dramatic landscapes.
Deep ocean: The oceans are now significantly lower, with mysterious underwater landscapes and new forms of life in the dark depths.
Gas giants: Huge gas planets with unique environments and materials have been added. These planets are characterized by immense atmospheric pressures, enormous gravity and volatile atmospheres and are circled by several moons.
New story: A new, narrative mission deepens the background story of the universe and expands the narrative of Atlas, Atlantid and the robotic autophage forms of life.
Inventory management: A new function enables the inventory to be sorted with a single push of a button. Objects can be ordered automatically according to the name, type, value or color, and separate stacks of the same object are merged.
This update offers players an even more rich and diverse gaming experience with new gameplay elements, improved visual effects and an expanded history.
