We know little about it so far fable. The upcoming action role-playing game from Playground Games appeared in a cutscene just under a year ago. Radio silence since then. A job posting from Microsoft and Turn 10 today could give us new information about the game’s development.
Indeed, the relevant job description should at least explicitly refer to the use of the ForzaTech engine fable. So it is written:
Do you want to have a huge impact on 3 developing AAA titles in 2 popular Xbox franchises? ForzaTech is the engine, tools, and pipelines for the Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon game series. In addition to new functions such as ray tracing for the next generation of consoles, we are also expanding the toolset for an open-world action RPG – Fable.
This is good news given the championship Playground Games has shown Forza Horizon 4. The game is indeed still very beautiful on consoles and PCs today and there is no doubt that the UK studio will be able to customize the various tools used for development fable
As a reminder, Fable will be on Xbox Series X | S and PC releases and integrates Xbox Game Pass on day one like all future Xbox Game Studios productions.
