Although it was announced in 2022, we still haven’t been able to take advantage of the next generation update (for Xbox Series X|S and PS5) Fallout 4. However, eventually the people of Bethesda saw the April 25 of this year as the best possible time to launch this update for its acclaimed title, taking advantage of the recent arrival of its Amazon Prime series. Which, by the way, also garners more than positive reviews.
What does the Fallout 4 next-gen update include?
The update will be completely free for any owner of Fallout 4and will include improvements such as those desired 60fps on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, as well as modes that let you prioritize resolution or frame rate. All this will be accompanied by other minimal improvements and bug fixes. However, Xbox One and PS4 are not left out. They will also receive an update at the same time with the aim of improving stability on these platforms, in addition to solving different problems related to connection to the game and some of its missions. On PC they will release a patch for compatibility with Steam Deck and Epic Games Store.
On the other hand, it is worth emphasizing unprecedented mission that Bethesda will add to Fallout 4 with everything mentioned above. Called “Echoes of the Past,” this mission will introduce you to the pre-war clique known as “the Enclave” and ask you to stop them from “spreading their dangerous ideology and gaining a foothold in the Commonwealth.”
Fallout is available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Your free update for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 will arrive this April 25. In the meantime, you have more video game news and analysis in the Xbox area.
I’ve been playing video games for as long as I can remember, so it’s safe to say I enjoy talking about them a bit.
