YouTuber MooreShots sat down and created his Halo Infinite-style take on the Halo 3 trailer. An impressive work!
Halo fan and YouTuber “MooreShotssat down and created his interpretation of the Halo 3 trailer in Halo Infinite style.
He announced the following details: “My reinterpretation of the Halo 3 believe trailer. All practical effects. Everything was made by me. Background was also a screenshot from the game. Hope the Halo community enjoys my project.”
All figures are from @Jazware’s World of Halo series. I made the diorama and the smoke effect. The background was a screenshot from Halo Infinite that I took in-game. And I want to say a big thank you to @Unyshek for making my diorama available to the Halo Museum on such short notice.”
“Creating the pink foam rings was probably the hardest part of the diorama, but having them in the diorama was important to me.”
“Use the pink foam as a base and paint the edges grey/silver. A leaf with fake moss. Then I added some real rocks and branches. Then some artificial plants for extra vegetation. And then more moss to create little bumps in the area.”
“And here’s the original video of Chief looking up. I attached tape and wire behind his head to create this effect. Then I slowed down the video while editing. No stop motion.”
“My goal wasn’t to recreate the Halo 3 Believe trailer. It’s redesigning it in a way that feels like Halo Infinite but has the nostalgia of Halo 3 Believe.”
“To tell the truth. I finished it while visiting family in Seattle for 2 weeks. Because I wanted to donate it to 343i. I couldn’t make a larger version because I had to find a way to pack everything on the flight. The only way to do that was to start the project when I got to Seattle.”
