Far Cry 5 recently received a 60fps upgrade for its fifth anniversary, which has now been analyzed.
Far Cry 5 celebrated its 5th birthday with a 60fps upgrade on the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. There was also a free game weekend and the 30 million players were promptly cracked.
Digital Foundry insisted on taking a closer look at the upgrade. The technical experts were enthusiastic about the 60 fps.
Ubisoft previously announced that the 60fps patch will apply to all game modes and DLCs. In addition to a smoother visual experience, Xbox Series X|S players will get improved resolution for Far Cry 5.
The Xbox Series X will display the game at a resolution of 3840×2160, while the Xbox Series S will run the game at 1920×1080. PS5 players get a resolution of 2880×1620.
