Far Cry 6 is an open world first person shooter that lets fans immerse themselves in the depths of a modern guerrilla revolution on Yara, a tropical paradise where time stands by the tyrannical rule of President Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito) seems to have stayed.
As he strives to restore his country to its former glory, he prepares his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) to one day follow in his father’s footsteps. As Dani Rojas, who got into the military, players slip into the role of a guerrilla fighter with the aim of overthrowing the tyrant and liberating the country.

Players embody ex-military Dani Rojas, born and raised in Yara. They become embroiled in the guerrilla movement as the brutality of tyrannical rule peaks and the fires of revolution ignite across the country.
Players can choose between male and female protagonists elect and join the armed forces of the revolution. They meet fascinating characters, including Clara Garcia, the leader of the revolutionary group Libertad, and Juan Cortez, a bitter ex-KGB spy and guerrilla expert. Together they look for a way to overthrow the tyrant once and for all.
In order to take on Antón’s armed forces and his overarching power, the players must take advantage of Yara’s typical talent for improvisation and use the resources at their disposal imaginatively to spread chaos in the regime.
Driven by the creativity of improvisation master Juan Cortez, Far Cry 6 offers a wide and innovative arsenal of customizable, improvised weapons and tools. Various combination options are available, from a motorcycle engine-powered minigun to a backpack that throws homing missiles. Thus, players can savor their inner improvisational skills without limits and, as Dani, gain the power of an entire guerrilla force.
Far Cry 6 offers players the opportunity to make their adventure as individual as possible, regardless of whether they prefer to creep in secret or with roars and heavy weapons.
In addition to the improv options, traditional weapons and new travel options can also be used, including horses, tanks and crazy homemade vehicles. An animal companion can also be selected at Dani’s side, such as Chorizo, the lovable dachshund, or Guapo, Juan’s soldier-hungry pet crocodile.
Players can explore the huge, diverse open world full of jungles and neglected cities either as a single player or in two-player co-op mode. As a member of the revolution, plans for recruiting soldiers and gathering resources from hidden guerrilla camps spread across the country are controlled.
While Antón’s armed forces control the skies, roads and sea routes, players have to find their way around the world and prove themselves as real guerrilla fighters in order to ensure a successful attack against the regime.
