After more than 20 years since its last opus, the Fatal Fury saga returns hand in hand with an SNK that does not forget its other games.
Last weekend was held in Las Vegas on EVO after two years of absence due to the pandemic. An event that I consider the World Cups fighting games and where companies take the opportunity to announce new projects and news about their products. SNK did not miss this audience target and announced the return of one of the most legendary sagas of the genre: Fatal Fury oh Were in its Japanese version. The announcement came after the tournament final of KOF XV that was happening in Las Vegas.
Although the return of the Fatal Fury saga wasn’t the only thing we saw from SNK that night. The Japanese company also presented the new KOF XV teamalready available now, the Team Orochi. A team made up of the three fighters who sought to revive Orochi from the shadows in KOF ’97. And it doesn’t stop there, it was also featured a new team that will arrive in the fall of 2022 composed of another mythical SNK saga: Shamurai Shodown.
also announced a new season for KOF XV coming in 2023 and the implementation of cross play on all platforms. Last but not least, Samurai Shodown Receives Restore Network Code free for all platforms in 2023.
