Bungie invites you to celebrate Bungie Day with the community on July 7th. Guardians celebrate in style with fishing contests, ghost shell plushies, and emblems.
The occasion is Bungie Day on July 7th, the annual holiday created by the Bungie community. This year, Bungie is giving back to the community throughout the week with many fun activities, including the Bungie Day Giving Festival, a community badge contest, and fishing festivals like Lucky Week, which doubles the catch rate for exotic fish, and Destiny 2’s first-ever Fishing Derby.
Alongside these activities, players can earn increased reputation gains in the Vanguard, Gambit, and Crucible playlists from July 4th through July 11th.
Bungie Day Giving Festival
The Bungie Foundation is hosting its fourth annual from July 6-23 Bungie Day Giving Festivalin donating to charities like this “Little Lights” program, Direct Relief and the College Success Foundation. This year’s event will feature many prizes for donors, such as an Exotic Ghost Shell, Bungie Day Badge Pack, Special Edition Marathon T-Shirt, PlayStation games and more. Concurrent with the Giving Festival, Bungie is hosting the world’s first global badge contest, allowing the Destiny 2 community to submit their artwork to be featured in-game. Angel Derby
New to the season of depth destiny 2 is the fishing! This year, to celebrate Bungie Days, Bungie is hosting a Fishing Derby consisting of five different hour-long fishing competitions. These will take place throughout the day (Pacific Time) on July 7th. Players can catch as many fish as possible and earn points based on the rarity of the fish. Those with the highest score will win a Bungie Foundation Digital Prize Pack. See more details on the Angel Derby here
Bungie Store is celebrating Bungie Day in a big way
The Bungie store is hosting one of the biggest events of the year with an extensive collection of merchandise and items that are returning by popular demand, while also offering discounts of up to 50% on certain items. The new items in the shop include u. a Bungie Day pin set, pre-ordering Destiny Grimoire Anthology Vol. 6: Partners in Light, collectibles from Numskull Designs, and new fashions from LVLP Wear.
For players who missed out on previous Bungie rewards, the Retired Rewards Restock event will be live. This is where recurring products are available for purchase for players who have completed in-game achievements. The relaunched rewards are available while supplies last or until the end of the event on July 13 at 6 p.m.
Bungie has teamed up with Displate have teamed up to create unique and high-quality Destiny-themed Metal Posters for gamers to receive to decorate their gaming spaces.
