Xbox insiders test a fix for the current problem with Xbox controllers, including embroidery drift and dead zone.
Embroidery drift with unwanted inputs and problems with the dead zone caused the current firmware update 5.23.5.0 for the Xbox controller.
Xbox insiders are now testing a new version in which these problems are to be resolved.
According to the Xbox team, the new firmware “corrections for unexpected behavior in the automatic centering of the thumb stick, especially with small, precise movements in the game”, are remedied.
It is not known when the controller update will be released for all users and should also depend on how effective it is.
