If you knew the first Xbox, you probably remember its user interface. The console had several menus near a giant representation of the logo, all in shades of green. However, these screens could have been very different, as the Xbox indicates.
In fact, Xbox has injected a lot of previously unknown information into its virtual museum. In particular, we discover the letter addressed to Nintendo and some concepts. Including interface concept videos for the original Xbox.
These concepts appear in the form of videos that we can discover during our visit. We then see a first concept called Blur and a second called Frog. Both benefit from a brief demonstration and reveal navigation between games or score screens.
Funny detail, Xbox then enriched these concepts of “fake games”. This made it possible to project oneself better when the console did not yet exist. Here and there we find traces of a Final Fantasy VIII or a Great tourism, PSOne exclusives of the time!
