Mike Brown founds the Mavericks Games studio.
Mike Brown, best known for his latest work on Forza Horizon 5, has left playground gamestaking a few other key staff with him to train a new independent studio called Maverick Games. It will be located in the UK.
Although it is not known what project they are currently working on at Maverick Games, they claim that it will be a “Ambitious open world game for consoles and PC”. It would be better to assume that We will not hear more about this new title for a few years.but it’s always great to see new studios open up to offer new experiences.
The video game industry is no stranger to key personnel departures, after all, Halo Infinite’s creative director left 343 Industries before the game was even released.
