Yesterday we were able to enjoy a new live format from Microsoft. Under the name of Direct Developer, we were presented with the development of a total of five games that will arrive in the near future during this year. Among the live speakers were the components of Rotate 10 studioswho showed us all the potential they will display with the new opus of Forza Motorsport. According to their creative director Chris Esaki, they are working hard to bring us the next generation of Forza Motorsport. Built from the ground up with the Xbox Series generation in mind, being the most technically advanced racing game ever created.
Brutal technical deployment in the new Forza Motorsport
From Rotate 10 studios it was confirmed that Forza Motorsport will have a total of 500 vehicles and 800 upgrades or upgrades. According to the developers, this is the largest rollout of vehicles they’ve had in the entire franchise. All of these vehicles will have an improvement in their physical models, which will improve the driving experience. As for the circuits, they confirmed that there will be a total of 20. They will include the most iconic and fan favorites, as well as five new locations.. These new environments were captured using photogrammetry and laser scanning to provide greater realism. Environments will be highly detailed and weather will be procedural, evolving organically. This will deliver dynamic outdoor and asphalt temperature for the first time in the franchise.
Graphically, they confirmed that modeling and shading were created from scratch for each car. They added ray tracing, using a spectrophotometer in the paintings for a more realistic effect. Each vehicle will have unique damage and dirt buildup, depending on its bodywork. As for the sound that will include the title, it has also been rebuilt from scratch, adapting the sound to the changes we make to the tracks.
Finally, by the game director Arthur Check it was confirmed that Forza Motorsport will run at 4K, 60FPS and real-time ray tracing on all smooth mirror and flat glass surfaces. As for game modes, it will include an online mode and a new single-player career mode, focused on building cars.
For the moment, no precise release date has been proposed. Nevertheless, confirm that their arrival is planned for this year. We look forward to this new Forza Motorsport. We will bring you all the news about it on our Xbox Area page. We leave you below the presentation video in the Direct Developer.
