It is time for the players to visit the “fishing town with fear of fishing”. Moonlight bay is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Windows PC, and with Xbox Game Pass. As you may know, this is a relaxing RPG focused on fishing and cooking, but it has a deeper story with lots of secrets to discover and extraordinary locations to explore.
If you’ve watched the March announcement trailer in the / twitchgaming Showcase: [email protected], you know that the issue of loss runs all over the bay – its residents grapple with their own insecurities and insecurities.
The story begins three years after the disappearance of your partner who was swept away in a tragic accident. When your daughter River unexpectedly arrives to help with the 100 year celebrations, it rekindles meaning and motivation to start your own street food business – just like you always planned.
But as you explore the city, rediscovering the people and local businesses, you find that Moonglow Bay is doing really badly … all because of the city’s fear of the water. Would you find out?
Somebody has to get out again to document the fantastic types of water, to draw a course through the beautiful, varied zones and to reveal their secrets.
If you followed Moonlight bay On social media, you’ve seen firsthand the incredible work Bunnyhug has done over the past three years to get to this point. A lot of details are packed here, so here are a few pointers to get you started.
From start to finish, you can play the game in local co-op with a buddy who takes on the role of River Fisher. Together you cruise around on scooters and motor boats, support each other with the particularly resilient catch – you can even cuddle waffles twice! I am sure he will appreciate it.
You should also remember to mix up bait, rods, and bait if you want to catch different species. In the different zones you will need to use different techniques such as net, trap and ice fishing if you want to complete your fishing journal.
Caught fish can then be donated to the local aquarium, where you can learn facts about marine life – including their real names – from curator Marina Peixoto. Conservation is important around these parts.
Speaking of conservation, there is a lot of debris to be dug up in the open water and several structures in the city to be renovated. By making the bay shine and sparkle again, you’ll do a lot in building bonds with townspeople – they could even write in your journal as a token of trust and friendship.
And if you have the feeling that you haven’t done a good deed for the day, you can pick up a request from the city bulletin board at any time and help someone in need. Even if that need is a serving of your freshest fish ‘n’ chips!
I leave the rest to you to discover. But now that the game is out, I’d like to personally thank you for participating in our Angel puns and goofy jokes over the past few months. It was so much fun giving you glimpses of the bay but now it’s your turn. Cant wait to see all of your amazing discoveries!
