We have detailed the content of the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta event which includes many new features.
Since yesterday a lot of Halo Insiders receive your invitation emails for the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta, which will take place from July 29 to August 1. Yesterday, the Technical Preview online event also took place where we got to see several members of the dev team show us all of the content that we will find in this beta.
There are still no instructions on how to download this multiplayer beta, however. since 343 they have informed that we will know all the details very soon. The good news is that he can stremear all content, So stay tuned to our channel Tic to see the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta in action.
Last night’s event kicked off with a multiplayer game that worked on an Xbox One from which we were able to clarify several details. The first, as we already knew, was that our Spartan will have custom colors inside the game. No more classic Red vs. Blue who accompanied us during all the deliveries of the franchise, but not completely. Enemies will have some sort of aura on their modeling indicating the color of the team they are forming. Although we can customize the color of this “aura” in a range of warm and cool colors.
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer customization is taken to its best. We can map all the buttons on our control or mouse and keyboard as we like. In addition to being able to choose from a large number of technical options to get the most out of our PC. We can also turn off the microphone when we enter multiplayer games.
A detail that we were also able to discover thanks to the menus displayed during yesterday’s event, is that Dash button first seen in Halo 5: Guardians disappears.
Advancement and customization of our Spartan
One of the most updated parts of Halo Infinite multiplayer are our character customization options.. A bit reminiscent of those we’ve already seen in Halo Reach, allowing each piece of our armor to be changed individually.
Players will have available different default armor models called “Armor Core”. Where we can modify several parts of our armor such as helmet, visor, shoulder pads, chest or knee pads to make them unique. We can also do the same with weapons and vehicles, making “our” all gear available in Halo Infinite.
Finally, we can also customize the body of our Spartan. Being able to choose the type of body or use different prostheses in each of our limbs. We can also choose the shape and color of the AI that will accompany us in each game.
Another new feature in Halo Infinite multiplayer is the Battle pass. Where we will receive rewards for completing challenges which will be updated daily and weekly. The rewards to be received range from colorful designs to exclusive pieces for our armor.
The crazy academy of the Spartans
The Academy is also totally new feature in Halo Infinite multiplayer. Its intention is to help novice players to familiarize themselves with the different weapons that we will have. Create a more user-friendly learning curve before entering competitive mode. Although this will also help more experienced players to warm up a bit before they jump into action.
We will have different available challenges with every weapon on a shooting range, similar to what we have seen in other competitive games such as Valuing. We can also play sand game simulations against bots. We can choose between different difficulty levels of the AI or the equipment with which the Spartans will appear in the arena.
Another of the headlines of this presentation on the Halo Infinite Tech Preview is the absence of murders. One of the most characteristic mechanics of the Halo universe, loved by the community and what could be considered a climax in any game. From the Halo Infinite development team, they decided to take a step back on this issue and see how to integrate this mechanic into Halo Infinite multiplayer gameplay.
