Your pre-order provides early access to the future of Call of Duty multiplayer combat. That Modern Warfare II Open Beta will be free on Xbox for a whole weekend. Early beta access will be granted to those who have either digital or retail pre-orders.
Multiplayer Beta Dates
Xbox Early Access: Those who pre-ordered the game for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S can start playing the beta Thursday, September 22 at 10 a.m. PT. Xbox Live Gold subscription required for Xbox players.
Open Xbox Beta: For the remainder of the weekend, from Saturday, September 24 at 10 a.m. PT to Monday, September 26 at 10 a.m. PT, the beta is accessible to Xbox players regardless of pre-order status and does not require an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Crossplay will be enabled, meaning you can play with the larger community regardless of what hardware they’re using, and unlock rewards together, available in-game at launch.
