The latest update in the new year for rogue society has come! This update includes a new Rogue and many new Quality of Life updates as part of our Project Saint initiative!
Glimpse is the result of a genetic engineering program trying to create a super assassin. She was classified as a “failure” and slated for destruction because the program believed she was being overly empathetic. She escaped destruction using stealth technology and now vows to stop those responsible for her traumatic experience in the program. Glimpse joins the Rogue Company to continue the united fight against the villain organization Jackal.
Do you want to gain the upper hand and sneak up on your enemies? Glimpse’s camouflage ability gives you the perfect opportunity. Activate her ability to turn invisible to the enemy team, but be careful as fast movement and damage taken will make you easier to see. Due to Glimpse’s genetically heightened senses, her passive, Sleighty, allows you to periodically spot enemies around you.
“Glimpse’s capabilities will push the limits of their opponents just as their development pushed the technical limits of our engine,” says Technical Artist Zoey Schlemper. “The programming, engine, VFX and technical art teams worked together to create several custom systems to ensure Glimpse’s new camouflage technology looks as good as it feels.”
Project Saint is a key focus for the development team in the new year. This initiative includes fixing bugs and implementing new Quality of Life updates to make things run more smoothly rogue society gaming experience. Features include a new passive for Vy, a larger shield for Sigrid, the ability to block players, and more! Keep an eye out for these new details in the upcoming updates!
