God of War’s father prefers Xbox Series X

While it’s not his only game, David Jaffe is widely known as one of the fathers of the God of War franchise. The creator has a channel where he generally interacts with his more than 19,000 subscribers. This week, he posted a video in which he talks about his experiences with the new next-gen consoles.

For Jaffe, the conclusion is simple, he fell more in love with the Xbox Series X. Far from promoting the war of consoles, in his video reviews the feelings that the two consoles conveyed, and although the two were pleasantly surprised, Microsoft’s beast has a plus over its rival.

I have PS5 since launch week. I bought the Xbox Series X about 10 days ago. They are two incredible consoles, just wonderful. But my heart, which I’m starting to find, belongs to the X series. I didn’t see it coming! DAMMIT!

Throughout the video, he sums up his experience with both consoles by making a successful comparison to fine dining restaurants, and highlights the value propositions of the three current console makers. In the words of creation, Sony and Nintendo would be something like a fancy restaurant where you grab whatever you want and drop pasta; however Microsoft is offering something akin to an open buffet

For David Jaffe, the main surprise of the American console is the use of Quick Resume and of course the Xbox Game Pass.
