The Elder Scrolls Online expansion “Gold Road” offers a main story worth 30 hours of play and more.
As part of The Elder Scrolls Online global reveal event, ZeniMax Online Studios revealed this year’s chapter: The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road.
This upcoming chapter is the next major release in the legendary Elder Scrolls saga and introduces a new one Main story spanning 30 hours of playFeaturing never-before-seen characters and a new yet familiar area to explore.
Coming in June, The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road brings players a new 30-hour main story that takes players back to locations last seen in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and continues the narrative of last year’s Necrom chapter continued.
In Gold Road, players must pursue Ithelia, a Daedric Prince never before seen in the Elder Scrolls series, and uncover the intrigues of her most loyal followers. Adventure seekers will encounter opportunistic wood elves and save the inhabitants of the western meadows from the chaos of the return of the forgotten princess.
As part of Gold Road, players will explore two new areas, fight new enemies, and learn a new system: Scripture, allowing them to further personalize their gaming experience.
Within the Lore, it is possible to collect and customize unique skills, allowing players to create their own playstyle by determining their primary, secondary and tertiary effects – now allowing them to customize their playstyle even further to adapt.
Kicking off this year’s release series is ESO’s next dungeon DLC, Scions of Ithelia. This new PvE DLC introduces two new four-player dungeons to Tamriel, the Pit of the Oathsworn and the Shroud of Turmoil.
The events of these two narrative arcs lead up to the upcoming Gold Road chapter, tasking players and allies with taking vengeance in the name of the God of Curses and defending the camp of the mysterious Demi-Lord of the Maelstrom.
The DLC dungeon expansion Descendants of Ithelia will be released on March 11th for PC/Mac and March 26th for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The Elder Scrolls Online: Scions of Ithelia DLC game pack will be available for purchase as part of an ESO Plus membership or alternatively in the in-game Crown Store.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road will be released on June 3rd for PC/Mac and June 18th for Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
