At today's Developer Direct, Compulsion Games took players deep into the South and into the world of South of Midnight.
The team brought plenty of gameplay with them, showcasing the skills of Hazel, the playable protagonist who is a weaver who uses her magic to fight against myths and creatures from local folklore.
Players were also able to take a look at bosses and their game mechanics today. Hazel will have to endure several phases of these fights, which will increase in intensity.
At the end of the presentation, the developer revealed April 8th, the official release date for South of Midnight for Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Game Pass.
In addition to the new trailer, details about the Premium Edition of South of Midnight were revealed. Buyers receive various bonuses and can start with Hazel five days earlier.
