The Obsidian Entertainment Team announced on Xbox Wire which Based reached 15 million players on Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10/11 PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta), and Steam. This comes just a few months after the full release of Based September 27. The Obsidian team greatly appreciates the game’s positive and welcoming community, whether it’s players who have been with Based from the beginning as if they had just had their first mite.
Additionally, Obsidian announced a special update for Based for this titled Christmas A holiday treat, includes new playable features and content to help streamline the experience as you explore the back garden, including additional player inventory space, the ability to climb and descend ZIP.R lines, and new decorations for the base, including a Christmas tree for the month of December.
