Gunfire Games could be working on Darksiders IV

The Darksiders franchise is living one of its best times. Not surprisingly, last year the third numbered installment was launched, with Furia as the protagonist. As we see in his Web, Gunfire is recruiting new staff for a game "AAA first class." That is, a new triple A title in which they will use, again, the Unreal Engine 4 that they also know and that they know how to squeeze. And this engine is, coincidence or not, the same one that was used in Darksiders III. Obviously, this does not mean anything, since the Unreal Engine is one of the most used in the industry and could be a new project outside the freanquicia.

Darksiders IV or Remnant: From The Ashes 2?

In these selection processes, Gunfire looks for a combat designer who knows how to deal with “design leadership to design, implement and polish compelling combat experiences. ” In addition, they also look for someone who is capable of creating a combat “Convincing and balanced” and able to polish it.

Thanks to this approach in the fight of the offers, we can think that it will be something essential in its new title. Of course, this does not give us more clues about the project and, seeing that they are still in the hiring phase, we could take some time to see it.
