Microsoft has generated ten billion US dollars in sales revenue with the Halo franchise and the Master Chief.
Along with Gears of War and Forza, the Halo brand is one of the figureheads for Microsoft and the Xbox platform.
The first installment in the Master Chief shooter franchise was released on the original Xbox console in November 2001. Back then, Bungie (Destiny 1 and 2) was still responsible for development.
Since then, the brand has grown steadily and has produced more pieces.
Like Twitter user bogorad222 on the LinkedIn page of Lillian Lehmann, Senior Business Manager at Microsoft, discovered that the Halo franchise has generated $ 10 billion in revenue to date.
With the release of Halo Infinite this year for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC, sales should no doubt continue to grow.
