Halo Infinite’s big winter update is here and it’s packed with new features you can’t miss
Many players and fans of the Halo saga were eagerly awaiting the arrival of this great update cataloged as the winter update.
And in reality it is not for less, since it brings many novelties and functions that many players have been waiting for impatiently, such as the possibility of play the campaign in cooperative mode, Mission Repl ay or the Forge mode beta
The co-op campaign in Halo Infinite is already a reality
At least it was curious that Halo Infinite went on sale without the possibility of enjoying the campaign in cooperative mode, a mode that has been very successful in previous installments. 343 Industries justified this delay as they wanted to provide the best player experience possible, which they have not achieved so far.
Additionally, it was announced that Halo Infinite in its co-op campaign mode can be cross-played i.e. both with Xbox Series X | S and on PC. Instead, progress and unlocks will be calculated for all players who participate in co-op.

Achievement fans are in luck, as Halo Infinite’s winter update includes a total of 24 new achievements, a perfect excuse to relive the story, don’t you think?

Forge Path
Another of the modes that has been made to beg is the long-awaited Forge, which is already available in Halo Infinite and will allow us to design our own maps.
Forge mode beta launches with a total of six canvas maps, new visual scripting engine, object scaling, lighting and audio tools, bot support, augments large budgets, file sharing capabilities, etc. a lot more to help you create and share your maps, mods, and prefabs.
New Battle Pass and Events
The Winter Update brings a new Battle Pass which is completely free for all players and will never expire. With 30 tiers of rewards, the Winter Update Battle Pass sees the return of many Halo: Reach-themed cosmetics.
Over the next few months, you can also expect two free events that will each bring 10 additional reward tiers (a total of 20 additional free reward tiers).
In December, the Winter Contingency will once again declare itself with a series of holiday-themed cosmetics.
In January, the Joint Fire event will focus on the JFO class Mjolnir armor and other related cosmetics.
New maps and modes
The Halo Infinite winter update brings with it two new maps for multiplayer, called Argyle and Detachment, increasing the number of maps available.
There has also been a focus on improving experience and XP progression, an aspect that will be tweaked and worked on in the coming months.
As you can see, the Halo Infinite winter update is very, very complete and full of new features.
