Microsoft launches a new feature on its consoles, the Copilot mode
You may not have discovered it, but now there is a new feature on your Xbox game console, the so-called Co-pilot, this function allows you to connect two controllers so that as the other player you have full control over the game.
In fact, this mode was created for those who need help at some point in the game and can count on their partner.
The user who activates the Co-pilot on his control is the pilot, the pilot will be the one who obtains all the achievements and scores of the game, the other user will be the so-called co-pilot and you will not receive any achievements or scores during the game on your account.
This is how co-pilot mode is activated on Xbox
- Connect a second controller to the Xbox for the co-pilot. The co-pilot can connect or not: the achievements and the score of the player do not go to this player.
- Using the pilot control, press the button Xbox to open the guide, then select Profile and system > Setting > Accessibility > I send.
- To choose Co-pilot configuration , then select Activate the co-pilot.
- Select the co-pilot command.
Once the co-pilot mode is activated the two connected remotes will have full control
It’s important to know that you can even bind two Xbox Adaptive Controllers simultaneously or bind one of that type with a normal controller.
To deactivate the Copilot, it is to perform the reverse process, that is to say to go to Configuration of the Copilot and select Disconnect the co-pilot.
Below you can see a tweet where Xbox Europe explains how to activate it via video.
