Nintendo has announced that the prices of the games for the Nintendo Switch 2 are variable and, among other things, compete with the scope.
Higher prices for games with more scope, one way or the same one could be the latest statements from Nintendo President Doug Bowser interpretation that announced in an interview with the Washington Post that Switch 2 games will have different prices.
When asked why Mario Kart World physically costs $ 89.99 and a Donkey Kong Bananza $ 79.99 came the answer:
“What you see here are the variable prices. We take a closer look at every game, the development effort, the width and depth of the gameplay, the durability and the repeatability of the gaming experiences.”
“These are all factors, and there are many more who play a role in choosing the right price for the game. So I think you can count on variable prices and we have not yet set a yardstick.”
Mario Kart World for the Nintendo Switch 2 was set so high in price because it is a very extensive game and there is so much to discover.
