Hollow Knight: Silksong of Cherry Team received a new trailer during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. We finally see Hornet fighting all sorts of enemies, awesome bosses, and traversing living environments. The trailer also confirms that song of silk will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC and will also launch day one on Game Pass. The game was also originally announced for the Nintendo Switch.
In Hollow Knight: Silksong we no longer control the knight from the first game, but Hornet, a much faster character. Hornet is able to jump on enemies, use various cool abilities, and heal quickly. We don’t know his mission as such, but we do know that we will explore a new kingdom, we will meet new characters and much more.
We don’t have a definitive release date yet. However, from what was said at the Xbox event, everything announced can be played in 12 months. Everything indicates that we will be able to get our hands on song of silk somewhere in 2023, although it’s also possible that it’s sooner.
