Hey, this is Alex Tintor, co-founder of Blue Isle Studios. We’re launching a new game called Leap that has great mod support…something close to my heart.
I got my first experience with modding at the age of ten when I started making mods for the Command and Conquer series of games. I worked on the Command and Conquer: Red Alert card editor that I continued to work on with a group of others throughout my high school years Blitzkrieg 2 courage for Command & Conquer: Generals. I met my colleague and studio co-founder Brenden years later when I first met him starcraft 2 came out with an impressive set of modding tools. I was on a mission to start a full conversion modding project and was told I needed to get in touch with Brenden.
Together at Blue Isle Studios we have released numerous games over the past decade and have always had a vision of creating a game where players have the ability to modify within the game and create content that enhances the playability of the game improve game. Leap
Some of the UGC I’m most looking forward to include a mod called “One Bullet One Kill” by Overwolf modder “th_mrow” and another one is on a private server by another Overwolf modder, Lukas called “Leap hard point.”
Aside from being 100% functional for console launch modding, Lion also features two modes (PVE and PVP), tons of maps, weapons, and personal vehicles for transportation (my personal favorites are the robo-moose and the hoverboard). Leap continues to grow daily as our modding community grows and continues to implement new servers and content. We also have a solid content roadmap planned for the coming months, including new weapons and levels that we will be revealing soon.
While Leap delivers what players know and expect from solid FPS, we look forward to distinguishing ourselves through our partnership with Overwolf, and look forward to filling our servers with imaginative players.
This is a big moment for Brenden and I as we look back at the hours we spent in our teenage rooms comes full circle; We hope that when this game releases, it will provide new and experienced modders with a way to create content for years to come.
Welcome to Leap! We can’t wait to see what experiences you’ll have and what creative modding content you’ll create – not that I’m judging or anything.

LEAP is a fast-paced multiplayer first-person shooter featuring epic, large-scale battles in which each player is armed to the teeth. Become an elite LEAP mercenary as you rise into battle. Fight for either the United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) or the insurgent Exo-Terrans – whoever pays the most wins your trigger finger and excessive arsenal. Work together with your teammates, use powerful weapons and unique class abilities, and quickly traverse the terrain with grappling hooks, jetpacks, and outrageous vehicles to claim victory. Jump on your hoverboard and backflip into battle, or saddle up on a mechanical moose and lead the charge. Regardless of your playstyle, each LEAP Mercenary comes equipped with a Personal Vehicle (PV) that allows you to quickly cover distances and close the gap on your enemy. Each exosuit comes equipped with match-changing abilities – call in an orbital laser to obliterate a group of enemies, or drop a support shield to find temporary cover from enemy fire. Each obstacle is an opportunity to level up, charge, or attack, and an elite mercenary will use their unique movement skills to quickly navigate the battlefield. Use your grappling hook to reach greater heights or your directional jump to dodge enemy fire. The glory of victory only gets sweeter with rewards. Customize your mercenary with helmet emojis and various skin options for exosuits, vehicles and weapons. Flaunt and taunt your enemies with style and sass.
