Hunt: Confrontation keep updating. The popular multiplayer game keeps adding content for its fans to enjoy new adventures. Players can now earn a variety of rewards and take on a deadly new boss with the launch of the event Tide of Shadows.
During the event, which will last until August 23, 2023, hunters will have at their disposal new challenges, new game mechanics and a new story. Among the new mechanics, players will be able to test the new condition Wildcard character. This will add a huge storm to matches which will make it difficult to see in the swamp. Hunters will also be able to benefit from new special powers by affiliating their characters to one of the three new Covenants. By fighting in the Bayou, they will be able to unlock stories about each of these mysterious organizations.

The “Tide of Shadows” event introduces a new boss category titled Wild Target. Rotjaw is a new enemy that changes game mechanics and adds a new threat. Unlike the rest of the bosses in the game, Rotjaw is not on solid ground. Rotjaw watches over the waters of the swamps, awaiting those who venture there and threaten their territory.
Rotjaw was designed to add a new gameplay experience, emphasizing the swamp waters, his home. When out in the open, taking out Rotjaw quickly and quietly is crucial.. Rotjaw will force players to improvise while defending in open spaces. Hunters will have to make decisions in seconds on how to approach and take down this dangerous boss. If they are victorious in battle, hunters will receive a Bounty Token.
