During our Gamescon expedition we tested many of the games that are coming in the near future. Thanks to 505 Games we had the opportunity to play several of their titles, among them, Shooting reborn. And shooter First-person multiplayer with roguelite mechanics. The four characters available were cute anthropomorphic animals that mastered different fighting styles with their own unique abilities.
Gunfire Reborn, developed by the Chinese studio Duoyi Games, was released on PC about a year ago and is now preparing its arrival on Xbox consoles, available at launch on Game Pass. It has very fun gameplay, smooth control and a wide repertoire of weapons that are as crazy as they are effective: a lizard that shoots bombs when pressed, a tiger-shaped missile launcher or daggers that bounce off walls.
We will be able to pick up different weapons and improve them during the game, in addition to the abilities of each character. When the game ends, we can obtain permanent improvements with the experience points obtained, which is common in the genre. The scenography is relatively linear with secret chambers and various hidden chests that encourage exploration of these.
