With the Indie Box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or featured indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox Marketplace, others might be worth a look. That is the whole subject of this section.
In this platformer game, probably intended for the youngest among you, Mr Broccoli and Super Asparagus will team up to fight off the disgusting junk food that has just come to town. Long story short, expect to fight hot dogs, sodas, and other burgers.
The difficulty isn’t there and the game is easy to navigate thanks to the many checkpoints scattered throughout each level. Luckily, because Mr. Brocco & Co. doesn’t shine with question handling but remains very playable. Each level will reward you with an achievement and there are twenty of them. If there remains a platform game that will keep you or your toddlers busy for just a few hours, look no further.
For the more lazy of the gang there is a cheat code to pass the levels in no time and thus regain the 1000G in no time. On good terms…
I loved :
- A small, honest and unpretentious platformer for the youngest
- 1000G fast if you go through the “Cheat Code” field
I’m sorry :
- Small challenge
- Less than three hours of life
