With the Indie Box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or featured indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox Marketplace, others might be worth a look. That is the whole subject of this section.
In Keep sailing, it’s not a boat, it’s an armada that we have to command for… er… well *scratches his head*. You always ask too many questions. The time I gave it rudimentary action/management/navigation game all, I only had one boat for explore, fight and attack small “forts” consisting of two wooden towers. the Navigation is pleasant, with a simple system to have the favorable wind and use the cannon. The fact of being quickly dismissed after the tutorial and thus embarking on a blind adventure can be a real “plus”.
For my part, I admit that I gave up very quickly. Visiting the first few uninteresting islets makes progress tedious as after the visit I didn’t really know where to turn to continue. So I don’t want to be held by the hand, but I don’t know: seeing an island in the distance can change everything and make you want to explore… Above all the uncouth look doesn’t help to hold on beyond measure. To note that Keep sailing is not available in Frencheven more unfortunate when you realize that the NPCs often speak in seaman’s slang.
I appreciated:
- A game for everyone
- Navigation, easy and pleasant
I’m sorry :
- French is not available
- The lack of clues
