With the Indie Box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or featured indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox Marketplace, others might be worth a look. That is the whole subject of this section.
Published by VS Fighting fans and other arcade junkiesunlikely the rest of you know the license The rumble fish
Lost in the jungle that was the world of fighting games back then, The rumble fish 2 had some good points to make though. If the title doesn’t shine for the charisma of its characters or its settingssome elements are nevertheless original enough to give him credit. In particular, the two super bars at the bottom of the screen quickly draw our attention
Finally, a good little 2D fighting game reserved only for fans of the genre who would not have had the opportunity to try it then. The others go their own way.
I appreciated:
- very different characters
- Accessible but technical
- The dual gauges that allow for reversals of the situation are used so well
- An honest carry…
I am sorry :
- … but adds nothing to an aging game
- Characters “stylish”, but few and devoid of charisma
- Very bad content
