Not only a lot of new content, but also dynamic resolution for Xbox consoles are included in the Interceptor update for No Man’s Sky.
Just six weeks after the Fractal update, No Man’s Sky has another one available for free download.
With the Interceptor update, available now, travelers can embark on a new Nexus mission, discover a new class of ship, or strap on the new Sentinal jetpack as they explore uncharted worlds.
Now, as they map planets, they’ll encounter new ruined worlds, abandoned camps, robotic spiders, and must be wary of cloaked enemies.
With this update, according to the patch notes on all Xbox consoles, the rendering resolution adapts to the situation in real time whenever the GPU bandwidth allows it. This is to maintain a consistent frame rate in visually complex scenes.
This was made possible by advanced engineering combined with Xbox support for AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 technology. The developer promises to offer the smoothest and best-looking visual experience to date.
Hello Games has packed the new content in a new trailer. All details about today’s update including patch notes are there www.nomanssky.com.
