CD Projekt RED has not been taken over by any company, as confirmed by a representative of the Polish studio.
The weekend has left us with some flashy news, among them one of the most important refers to the Sony's intention to buy CD Projekt RED. This, as you can imagine, would be a bombshell, not of the dimensions of buying Bethesda, but very powerful. Once the rumors surfaced, all the alarms went off and social media started fuming assessing the possibility.
While it was expected, the denial of CD Projekt RED was not long in coming. In this case it was Ola Sondejpublic relations manager of CD Projekt RED who, through social networks confirmed that they are not currently with this. Anyway, the Polish company was not acquired by Sony or any other company.

There was a lot of speculation, though as expected many of these features wouldn't leak in this way. The same thing happened with Bungie, Bethesda or Activision, it's not something that reaches the networks so easily.
Yes, we have no such discussions with Sony.
