The developer of It Takes Two had to surrender the trademark rights to the game because of a lawsuit by Take-Two Interactive.
If you don’t have any problems, you can create some. This is what you might think about the following message.
As Eurogamer reports, Hazelight is said to have given up the trademark on the co-op platform It Takes Two. The reason is a trademark lawsuit by Take-Two Interactive.
Hazelight was therefore forced by the lawsuit to give up ownership of the game.
The developer did not want to comment on the matter, but they hope to be able to clarify the matter soon.
How It Takes Two will continue in the future remains to be seen. It would be possible that it will be marketed under a new name, should one not be able to come to an agreement with Taktw-Two.
